Bypass OP

The surgical departments within the clinical centre Oberlausitzer Bergland are based in Zittau as well as in the town of Ebersbach. The department in Ebersbach (general surgery, visceral surgery, vascular surgery, emergency surgery) is headed by Dr.med. Matthias Karutz.

The primary target of our work is to provide the patients a premium medical specialist care on a scientific basis. We are aiming at the utmost satisfaction of our patients. At the same time we try to utilise our resources as economical as possible.

We are steadily expanding our working relationship between our two departments in Ebersbach and Zittau to provide the best professional care for each patient.

OP Incension

Both locations have modern, well-equipped operating rooms and nursing stations. All our patients are accommodated in modern rooms. Our operation procedures comply with the highest possible technical standards. Working together with other medical departments we put great emphasis on holistic views of therapy. Thus we guarantee an effective pain management and an early rehabilitation after surgical operations. We are also implementing new ways of treatment to optimise the medical specialist care of the patients in our department.

Furthermore the surgical department closely works with specialists from our clinical centre as well as specialists from other hospitals all over Germany.
