Rehabilitation Centre Löbau

The rehabilitation centre Löbau belongs to the clinical centre Oberlausitzer Bergland non-profit Ltd. and is located in Glossen, a district of the town of Löbau.

The rehabilitation centre replaced the traditional Reha-Klinik rehabilitation facility Glossen, which for more than a decade had specialized in the treatment of psychosomatic and psychometric disturbances in children and adolescents.

In 1994 a newly constructed building was finished on the premises of a former manor house. In the modernised building and in the baroque-style manor house up to 84 patients receive therapy. Normally an average of 12 children and adolescents are under care. The rural style of the facility and the quiet and pleasant surroundings offer excellent possibilities for rehabilitation.

The work of committed doctors, psychologists, nurses, numerous therapists and child care workers provide this necessary service. This child-friendly environment will help the young people regain their mental potential and their social skills and thus to mobilize their individual reserves. By increasing their quality of life and vitality we are creating the best-possible prerequisites for their return to school and family.
